UniFi AC LR - The AP RF Scanning and Wireless Configurations

In the previous article, we had discussed the Ubiquiti AC LR wireless creation and the factory reset. Today I am going to show you the advanced wireless settings and the options.

For doing this, open the Wireless Controller and select the Devices from the Dashboard.

In this window, we can see all the configured access points. I had only configured one device and I selected that for the demo configuration.

As shown in the below image, we will get another window on the right side of the main window with many icons. Let us look at what it is.

Details

This will show all the details of the selected device. The details including Mac Address, Model, Version, Up Time, Users, IP Address, Radio, Connection details etc.

Clients

The client option is used to find which user is currently connected with this the access point as well what is the mac of that device. Also can see the Signal and Tx Rate.

Config

This is the very most important settings. From this option, we can configure WLAN, Radio, LED Light, Custom Upgrade, Network, etc.

It helps the administrator to scan the RF environment. So that we can set the right channel and avoid signal interference.

This is a graphical representation of the details. The graphs showing the details of the Usage, User Count, CPU, Memory and Channel utilization, etc.
